Why moving contractors benefit from being on the Backload Moving Company's network:
Moving contractors who join our network expose themselves to a far wider ranging customer base than their usual advertising can reach. They can reduce costs by concentrating their advertising budget locally, while taking advantage of our Nationwide advertising in 18 Yellow Pages directories. Where they would usually advertise in newspapers in destinations from which they are seeking backloads, they can now access a range of available moves directly from our database.
Carriers on our network have a greater chance of filling an empty truck on return trips, thereby increasing profits for themselves, as well as being able to pass on some of their cost savings to customers. This then gives them a competitive edge when quoting backload moves.
When the Backload Moving Company receives enquiries from customers which fall outside our criteria of 100 km minimum distance and 10 cu.m capacity, we refer the customer to the most appropriate carrier on our network at no charge. Currently about 20 percent of our enquiries are referred on. Carriers on our network pick up a lot of small but high profit work in this way.
